Addie has been doing great and is growing up so fast. She has had a busy last few weeks and has been able to see lots of people. Addie had her 2-month appointment last Friday (almost a week ago) and was 8 lb. 8 oz., which is exactly double her birth weight! She is also 21 inches long and has a tiny head (14 in. circumference, which is less than the 3rd percentile). Her height and weight are in the 10th percentile, which is awesome! Developmentally, Addie is holding her own with other 2-month-olds and is in no way acting like a preemie. She has been so much fun lately. As of yesterday, she just started loving watching her mobile. She just lays there and kicks her feet and waves her arms as her head turns as the mobile turns. It was crazy to see her do that because he have tried getting her to look at it other times and she has had no interest whatsoever. Anyways, she is also holding her head up more and more as well as now enjoys putting weight on her legs ("standing" while we hold her). She is constantly changing!

Addie finally got to meet Uncle John at his high school graduation. This was a big weekend for her as she took her first trip (3 hours to Roanoke, VA and slept the entire car ride), got to meet her uncle, got to meet 2 of her great-grandmothers, and slept in a crib for the first time!

Mommy had to go back to work for a few days, so Addie got to hang out with Dottie for a while, which she loved. I think Dottie liked it too.

Addie has been a bit gassy lately (probably due to her large quantities of milk she has been taking in) and Daddy knows just what position to put her in to help her get it all out.

Addie had her first shot and got a hot pink band-aid!

Nana brought up a "tummy time" mat for Addie. She is working on that neck strength.

Nana also got to come babysit some while Mommy was at work. She couldn't believe how much Addie sleeps.

Here is Addie standing. Daddy is just helping out with balance, but all her weight is on her own little chubby legs!
