I know it has been a couple weeks since I last posted any pictures, so there are quite a few here. Addie had a big week last week, as you will see. Daddy had to go to Charleston for the week because of work, so Addie and I decided to drive down and spend some time there with him. While there, Addie got to see the beach for the first time, but she didn't really care about it. I think the water intrigued her, as did the wind, but other than that, she just kept chewing on her hands like she always does. We did let her go into the ocean a little, so she definitely tasted salt water for the first time, but didn't even make a sour face at the flavor! Since that was the case, we are not expecting any problems with Addie eating baby food (since it can't taste QUITE as bad as the ocean), but we will see soon enough!

Addie is just lounging with Daddy here. The past few weeks, we have had movie night at home on either Friday or Saturday night and Addie seems to love it! We watch the movie on our bed and Addie just sits right between us and stares intently at the tv...until she get sleepy. She normally misses the end of the movie because she falls asleep-I wonder who she gets that from?

I bought this little winter hat for Addie at a consignment sale and decided to put it on her to show Daddy what it looked like (surprisingly, it wasn't too massive for her tiny head). We thought it was pretty cute-hopefully it will be cold enough at some point for her to wear it this winter!

On the beach with Daddy!

We couldn't quite get Addie to look up for the picture, but that's okay.

This was us walking away from the ocean to leave. Daddy was walking behind us and she was so excited to be looking at him that we decided to take a picture...at least there is one picture of her smiling on the beach!

Addie got to do some sightseeing as well...even though she was asleep. I decided to take pictures to be able to prove to her that she really has been to these places before. The above picture supposedly has Fort Sumter in the background, but I never could find it.

Addie with a cannon.

And Addie with some palm trees.

One night, we found a cool little park that had a pier under a bridge, so we hung out there for a while. Addie loved being out there and seeing lots of new people.

She also enjoyed time being carried instead of being in her carseat or stroller.
Lastly, here is a video of Addie's new "talking." I know we posted a video of her jabbering before, but she has recently started this and we think it is so sweet:
