Daddy has been gone all week (like he has been for the past couple of months), so I wanted to post a video for him to watch. Anyone else is welcome to enjoy it as well. This is Addie watching the dvd of some Sesame Street characters singing different songs and Addie loves it. As you wil see, she gets so excited when it is on.

Snow!
It has snowed a couple times at our house this year, but this was the first snow that was not real icy. So, we decided to take Addie out in it after breakfast Saturday morning.
Here she is, looking a little like Ralphy from "The Christmas Story." Ready to go!
This was the closest thing we could get to a smile. She normally smiles real big, but she definitely didn't know what to think of the snow. She didn't seem scared, but wasn't excited either. Just checking things out.
After a few minutes of us trying to get a good picture while she was sitting in the snow, she fell backwards and was completely still-didn't move at all.
Hanging out in the hammock for a little bit:
Still no smile, but at least she didn't cry! I'm sure she'll enjoy it more next year (at least I hope so).

Addie can read clocks-she was born with that talent. From the day we brought her home from the hospital, she knew exactly when feeding time was (every 3 hours ON THE DOT) and nap time and bedtime work the same way. Addie could be happily playing and all of a sudden she will start to rub her eyes or lay her head on the floor. She tries not to make it too obvious, so she will try to rub her eyes when she thinks we aren't looking, or pick her head up as quickly as she can. But, there is no fighting it. When she is sleepy, she must be put in her crib. In fact, she was so tired last night, she would not let me rock with her for a minute like I normally do before I put her down for bed. She just wanted to be put straight in her crib so she could fall asleep. I'm not complaining!

Bath time!
Addie loves to take baths, and always has for the most part. She has started to get baths more often (every night most of the time) now that she is feeding herself...the food tends to get all over the place-especially in her hair.
Addie has quite the mullet going on, though her hair has really come in well all over. It just never fell out in the back at all, so it is crazy long back there. Oh well
Here is a swet hair picture right after her bath (before it was dried to calm it down a bit):
Addie is not much of a snuggler anymore, but thankfully she will snuggle for a couple minutes all bundled up right after her bath:
