Addie had her newborn doctor's appointment this morning, so she was measured and weighed and our little girl has grown! She now weighs 5 lb. 3 oz., so almost a full pound more than she weighed when she was born! She continues to eat well, so we expect her to continue to grow and catch up with other newborns (she is in the 3rd percentile for weight right now, but that compares her with full-term newborns).
I don't know if you can fully tell here, but Addie is definitely getting a double chin. It seems like the majority of the weight she is putting on is in her face-definitely not her arms or legs-they just keep getting longer! She is 18 and 3/4 inches long. Bob and I think she has changed so much already-it's crazy.

Addie got to meet some cousins as well as an aunt and an uncle this weekend. This is her cousin, Michaela, who is 5 years old and loved to give her kisses.
This is 2-year-old cousin Trevor's first meeting. He was constantly asking where the baby was when he was here. He loved to just touch her.

ReplyDeleteAbby - thanks for posting, I love seeing the pictures. Beccs said that she visited and couldn't believe how little Addie is. I am sure that pictures don't quite do justice to her size.
