Another Aunt and Uncle

Addie's Aunt Deborah and Uncle Corey got back to the States from their year-long trip to Bolivia a few weeks ago. Their flight came into the Charlotte airport, so that was very convenient for us to not only get to meet them at the aitport, but also have Corey and Deborah stay at our house for a couple days! Addie is slowly but surely meeting all of her parents' siblings and their families...it takes a while when each parent has 4 siblings, most of which are married and some of which have children!
Aunt Deborah excited to finally meet (and hold) Addie.
Here they are!

Proud Dottie and Pops with all of their grandchildren.
Addie wakes up so happy in the morning, as long as she has slept enough (anywhere from 10-12 hours and she's happy). I came in one morning when I heard she was awake and saw she was smiling like crazy, so I went and got the camera real quick. Addie not only wakes up smiling, but kicking as well (ready for soccer already!). The way I normally know she is awake is not because she cries, but because I hear her kicking the mattress. I'm not sure if you can completely tell in this picture, but Addie had kicked her foot out of her sleeper. Pretty funny. Since this picture, I got her one morning with both feet out of the sleeper.
This is a new toy I busted out recently and Addie really likes it. It is a jump seat that hangs from the doorway. Addie doesn't jump so much as she spins, but whatever works.
I know there are straps on the bouncy seat, but haven't really seen the need to use them much in the past. I realized very recently, though, that they are very necessary now. I put Addie in the bouncy seat one day and before I was 5 feet away, Addie was literally rolling out of the bouncy seat-head first! Thankfully, I made it there before she hit the floor!

  2. Abigail -
http://blurb.com - they have free BookSmart software that has a "blog to book" option that takes your blog entries directly into book form - of course, there's some formatting to do to make it look exactly like you want it to - but it is really easy. I'm not exactly the scrapbooker type, so this is PERFECT for me. If I tried to keep all our pictures and stories somewhere to scrapbook later... my goodness, I would be so far behind, I'd never finish. But this way, I can keep up and not forget anything. Here are some pictures of the first book I made: http://scottandsarahbass.blogspot.com/2009/04/book-has-arrived.html
If you have any more questions, just let me know!!
